It was always
going to be tough for David Moyes, attempting to fill the biggest shoes in the
history of football. He is under a constant reminder of Sir Alex Ferguson.
Driving
to the stadium on match day he glances to the left and sees he’s on Sir Alex
Ferguson Way. Taking his place in the dugout (he is careful not to sit in Sir
Alex’s seat) he looks up to see 26,000 fans staring down upon him from the Sir
Alex Ferguson Stand. A banner stretching across the middle tier says thank you
to Sir Alex while displaying all the trophies he bought to the club - it
stretches the length of the stand.
